"To gain and grow followers of Jesus Christ"

We are a Bible believing, friendly, come-as-you-are church. Our services are a blend of comtemperary and traditional.

Our Vision: We desire to follow God so passionately and love people so actively that our community will encounter Christ through us before they ever set foot in the church. And we welcome people into a family where they can be themselves as we study God's Word together and are transformed by His Spirit.

Four steps to fuel your passion for God:
1. Spend time with God and His people
2. Submit to the Spirit's transforming power.
3. Serve others sacrificially - like Jesus!
4. Speak more boldly about your faith.

Actively loving people:
1. God calls you to actively love people you might find easy to reject.
2. God calls you to actively reject some things you might find easy to love.

How people encounter Christ, through you, before they enter the church:
1.Let your love show - Your good deeds (Matthew 5:14-16)
2.Let your light shine - Your holy living (Philippians 2:14-16a)
3. Let your voice sound -Declare the praises of God (1 Peter 2:9,10)

How you can be yourself - The call to transparent living:
1. Remove the Mask
   - The Cost - Your "Reputation".
   - The Risk - Rejection
2. Experience the power of being Real
    - The Reward - Real Love

Calvary: A Transformation Station
Two "Road" Signs that we are a place where transformation occurs:
 1. Perfect People not Allowed
     - Spiritual direction is more important that Spiritual location
2. Spiritual Progress Ahead
     -
Christ like thought - growth in Understanding
                                    +
     - A Surrendered will - growth in submission
    Results in
     - Mature behavior - growth in Godly Living

We Value:

1. God's Word - Biblical instruction is vital for the transformation of individuals and the church. Therefore, we provide various opportunities for people to study's God's Word together. (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

2.Prayer - Prayer is what connects us to the heart of God and enables us to carry out the will of God. Therefore, prayer is vital to our church life. We integrate prayer into our gatherings and promote personal prayer in the lives of our people. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

3. Reaching the Lost - Christ's mission is to seek and to save the lost. We follow His example by proclaiming the gospel message and meeting people's physical needs. We intentionally invest in personal relationships with the unchurched, and invite them to explore a personal relationship with Jesus and His church. (Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Luke 19:10)

4. Authentic Relationships - We are a community of real people living out real faith. We believe that Biblical community occurs best in the context of small groups where prayer, fellowship and the application of Biblical teaching are emphasized. (Acts 2:44-47; Proverbs 27:17; Romans 12:5)

5. Personal Growth and Holiness - We expect all followers of Christ to pursue holiness and continually take steps toward intimacy with Christ. Therefore, we provide growth opportunities for all levels of spiritual maturity and welcome accountability for how we live. (Ephesians 4:22-24; Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 1:6; Romans 12:1,2)

6. Every Member Participation - The body works best when the whole body works. Therefore, we expect all believers to discover their spiritual gifts and actively serve in the ministry. (1 Corinthians 12 and 14, Romans 12, Ephesians 4)

7. Cultural Relevance - We strive to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. Therefore, we will subject our ministry to constant evaluation and improvement in order to effectively engage each generation by bringing the unchanging truth of God to a changing culture. ( 1 Corinthians 9:19-23)
