The Theology Program is a six course program (ten weeks per course), of systematic and historic theology created for anyone who desires to understand the Christian faith more deeply. It is broadly evangelical, covering all positions within historic Christianity in a fair and balanced manner. Classes will be two hours in length – consisting of 75 minutes of video lecture and 45 minutes of discussion. Additional coursework will depend on the student’s learning track. Participants who miss a class will be able to watch the video online. Courses do not need to be taken in order, but the student will benefit from beginning with Introduction to Theology.
Three Learning Tracks to choose from:
The Enrichment Track: Watch all 10 videos and participate in at least 7 of the 10 class sessions. Textbooks are optional. No grades will be given.
The Certificate Track: Watch all 10 videos and participate in at least 7 of the 10 class sessions and complete the following assignments: 1). Assigned readings. 2). Scripture memory – about 7 passages. 3). Two case studies. 4). Two vocabulary quizzes. Homework will require 1-2 hours per week.
The Honors Track: The completion of all four criteria in the Certificate Track plus additional readings and/or online audio lessons as assigned.
Grading for the Certificate and Honors Tracks is based on the number of assignments completed: Complete all 4 + extra: A w/ honors
